Preterm labor may sometimes begin unexpectedly with no known cause. Do not neglect any of the warning signs. Contact your doctor even if you feel slightly uncomfortable.

  • Contractions that are regular and painful or more than 5 contractions per hour.
  • Low backache
  • Mild persistentabdominal cramps which seems like periods pain
  • Cramps in your belly with or without diarrhea
  • Watery fluid leaking from your vagina or bleeding from your vagina
  • Pelvic pressure which feels as if your baby is pushing down.
  • Change in vaginal discharge.
