Fats

  • Are needed to provide energy stores, build nerve tissues and prevent loss of body heat. DHA is an Essential Fatty Acid which plays an important role in brain and vision development of the growing baby.

Vitamin B1, B2, B12, Niacin, Folic Acid

  • Help convert food to energy, build hormones and red blood cells.

Vitamin D

  • Helps in the development of healthy bones and teeth.
  • It also helps in the absorption of calcium thus preventing rickets.
  • Though Vitamin D can be synthesized in the body with the help of sunlight it has been seen that infants, because of limited exposure to direct sunlight, may be deficient in Vitamin D.
